Absolutely in LOVE with the vegetarian dish I had here, pictured in the attached photos.Definitely recommend even if Peruvian cuisine might be something you don’t normally like, as a Slavic person I can say that this was a pleasant surprise.A must visit, and don’t forget to try their traditional cocktail as well.
Great food and a lovely setting. We enjoyed the mixed ceviche, the empanadas, and the cauliflower (my favorite) were a hit. The scallops were okayish (while beautifully presented, I wasn’t a big fan of the foam cheese as it took away from the flavors and made them colder). The deserts (très leches and chocolate cake) were just fine.
Yakumanka by Gastón Acurio is my favorite restaurant in Barcelona! The food is simply outstanding, with authentic Peruvian flavors and impeccable presentation. The service is amazing, and the employees are warm, attentive, and professional. The vibrant atmosphere makes every visit special. A must-visit for anyone seeking a truly exceptional dining experience!
The food is mostly good! Some dishes are way better than others, see my pics and emojis. However neither the food, service nor the atmosphere justifies elevated prices. Therefore 4 stars. Don't get me wrong, I would and will come back for the food, now I know what to order. The Maracuja cheesecake was exceptional.
Hands down the best Peruvian restaurant in Barcelona. Every dish I have had here reflects flavors that are close to Peruvian culture. After all I was introduced to this restaurant by a Peruvian national who was a restaurant owner himself. When in Barcelona it's a must try. Also, don't forget their drinks, their Pisco sour is a must have.
