Thai Barcelona

Beautiful ambience. I was craving Asian food and I got to a right place. I wish I was more dressed for the place. It’s so beautiful and is perfect for a date or a special event. I just dropped in after my flight.Everything was so perfect, ambience so calming and I loved everything about the restaurant.

I greatly enjoyed having a nice dinner at this upscale Thai restaurant at the heart of Barcelona. Setting was pretty nice with wooden decors all around and food was of high quality. Prices weren’t affordable however matching the size/quantity.Particularly, I can recommend Tom Yum and Massaman, which were both excellent.

I took my wife for her birthday; it was a great experience overall.The food was very tasty, with a tasting menu option that allowed us to try many different dishes, also very fulfilling.The service was fast and helpful and the ambiance was very authentic, with Thai decorations all over the place.It was also quiet, which is quite difficult to find in Barcelona.I'm sure we'll repeat!

We were here for two consecutive nights, and ordered 10 dishes in total.The curry soups were great, but the jasmine rice was too hard to let the curry soak it for flavour.The Pad Thai was too wet and not sweet, the pineapple rice doesn’t look yellow enough (need more turmeric), and the Kra Pow needed more basil. So, these were close to authentic, but not there enough.The best item was the sweet rice with mango. The sticky rice was served hot, mango well ripen, and the coconut milk gave this dessert its beautiful finishing for taste.Service is pretty standard, because the staff were not attentive. We have to call or raise our hands, like in a classroom, to get service, which I don’t expect in a fine dining restaurant.Overall, the atmosphere is great, food is acceptable, maybe great if you haven’t travelled to Thailand before, service is okay. Good place to be when you need something resembling Asian food.
