Wonderful place for our Valentine’s dinner! We were seated right by the window overlooking the city and harbor. The view of the sparkling lights of the city and harbor was breathtaking. The wine steward was helpful in picking out wines we liked! Lived the creamy paella with veal. The cheesecake dessert was delicious- light and creamy. An added free bonus- at the end of the meal they gave us two heart shaped bon bons along with a shot of sweet wine each . Highly recommend this place both for food and circuses!
Disappointing VisitWe recently returned to Martinez, drawn by its lovely location and stunning views. Unfortunately, while the setting remains as picturesque as ever, the overall experience left much to be desired.The food, though edible, lacked any real flair or care. Each dish felt uninspired, as if it had been prepared without passion or attention to detail. For a restaurant with such potential, the culinary offerings were surprisingly forgettable.The service was adequate but nothing more. Our waiter was pleasant and polite, but there was nothing exceptional about the experience. It felt transactional rather than welcoming, which was a letdown given the restaurant’s reputation and ambiance.While Martinez still boasts a beautiful location and views, it’s clear that the heart of the dining experience—the food and service—has room for significant improvement. We hope to see a renewed focus on quality and creativity in the future, as the potential is certainly there.
If you want a stunning restaurant with some of the best views in Barcelona then this is it. The surroundings are perfect, the views are superb and the food is outstanding. Add to that the friendly, helpful staff and you are onto a winner.
The best paella we've had in Barcelona. The sea-side view is breathtaking, the food is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented especially the garlic and chilli shrimp. The staff are warm and attentive. Highly recommended
Great dinner with a view!Great views over Barcelona. The service was ok. Although Santiago was great, very helpful and thanks for arranging a table for us even without a booking. The lobster paella was amazing! Would recommend! Great food and wine in general. Price ok. We had a great experience
