Paella Bar Boqueria

We chose this place as it had very good reviews and we did not regret it. The paella was really great and very well presented. The appetizer (octopus and potatoes) was fantastic, and the sangria was quite tasty too. It's a really cool and cozy place, kinda hidden from the main street, right next to the market. The place is very well maintained, very neat and clean. There's an outdoor seating as well. The staff was incredible, very helpful at all times (they speak Italian too). Absolutely recommended!

Very good, fresh Catalan paella and awesome Sangria Excellent Shrimps, clean utensils. Hosts are very attentive and kind. They speak English, they have English menu available. What is more, there are clean toilets with working hand dryers and toilet paper, which is really rare in public places in Barcelona. If you want to try very good, local food I definitely recommend Paella Bar.

delicious paella. I'm not a paella expert it was my first time but it was good. ordered two : prawn paella and paella barceloneta. Visited it late in the night (21h30) it was not crowded.I recommend the restaurant

Brut nature sangria was so delicious, if you like sparkling taste and paella was perfectly cooked! Staff were friendly, definitely would go back if we have more time on our trip! Price was good too!

I am visiting Barcelona from the US and of course authentic Paella was at the top of my must try list.I had the opportunity to go on a Monday and of the available choices that day and time, and after reading reviews, I decided on Paella Bar Boqueria.Turned out to be the best option for me…I am a solo traveler often, as on this trip and the accommodations at this place was well suited for my party of 1. The seating inside is very small, but they do an amazing job making the space work for them. Size wise, it was very NY feeling to me… They do have plenty of outside seating, good for larger parties.My seat was facing directly towards to open kitchen set up, which allowed me to “people watch” the staff performing their culinary art. This was very entertaining !I ordered the Catalana Paella. It is a combo of sea, chicken & sausage.I saved my whole day’s worth of appetite for this dish and Paella Bar Boqueria did not disappoint !!The rice was moist, the flavors were superb, the sea food cook just right.I know, I am going to be craving this for weeks to come and I feel sorry for myself.I highly recommend you stopping by and give your pallet the pleasure of Paella Bar Boqueria!
