I recommend it 100%, a group of friends went for dinner on a Sunday and the service was impeccable, the portions were generous, high quality and a very competitive price.My recommendation is to try a little of everything, the highlights are the steak (the best there is in the place in my opinion), the lacón, the Galician-style octopus (star dish) and also the typical tapas of squid, squid, etc...If you are looking for a place to eat well and in abundance, this is your place.

This is not your typical tourist bar found on Las Ramblas. This place is the real deal and one of the hidden gems of Barcelona. You will not find exquisite cuisine or a charming, sophisticated ambiance. Its not trying to be more than what it is: an authentic neighborhood bar, with its classic tapas (delicious, by the way) and cheap house wine (which is not bad). This place is so authentic that the regular clientele seem to be part of the furniture. It’s an experience you won’t get anywhere else. If you're a tourist or a foreigner in Barcelona and are looking for a place to enjoy an Estrella or Moritz and feel like you’re part of the neighborhood, you should definitely come to this place. You won’t be disappointed.
