A bio is coming soon.
It was our last day in Barcelona and we had not had Sangria yet. So, we decided to get it here. But when we realized they had all kinds of hand made cocktails, we sure could not say no to that! The cocktails were very nice, quite different from popular cocktails (which is good!). Afterwards, we still wanted to try the Sangria ofcourse, and it was also amazing!
Excellent cosy bar / restaurant, with funky decor. The staff were very friendly and fun. Although a slightly limited selection of drinks, when compared to larger bars, the choice on offer is excellent, with the cocktails freshly made, the food is of a similar ilk in that the selection is limited but of an excellent quality.
If you like to eats some tasteful food to share and have some drinks to go along, you should visit Marcopolo's. I've brought several people there over the last 4 months and they all enjoyed it. Most of the visitors will come in after 10pm. And is not a strange thing to start your dinner at midnight. I personally really like that. But if you are an early eater, there will not be many others around. They have a large variety of cocktails as well. I've yet to try them since MP has nice beers and wines on offer (even Belgian La Chouffe on draft). When you try Marcopolo's you will not be disappointed, promise!
Truly felt like we found a little gem down the street from our apartment during our visit to Barcelona. Seems very week visited on the weekends when we walked by. We stopped in on a Thursday and hour before closing and were served by a very friendly dude who made some killer drinks. Specialty cocktail list is relatively small, but the two we had were on point. Will definitely return!
Loved loved loved this place. The venue was lovely, small but not tiny. The attention to detail in the decor is perfect, it's cosy but still attractive. It starts to get busy around 10pm as typically the Spanish eat quite late. God damn! The cocktails were honestly amazing, the waiter obviously makes the cocktails with love, the Cava by the bottle is so cheap, you'll easily get off your face without trying to. The food was so beautiful I went everynight of my holiday. There was enough on the menu to try something new every night and the chef makes it fresh in front of you so it comes piping hot! If this was in London I would visit once a week. But as it's not I'll just advise anyone who is visiting Barcelona to give it a try.
