La Madurada

Stumbled on La Madurada on my first day in Barcelona and it was absolutely delicious I recommend this restaurant to any steak lovers in the area. Each dish was amazing and we ended our meal with their basque cheesecake, a recommendation from the staff which was absolutely worth it so decadent I think it might be the best cheesecake I have ever had. We also had amazing service. Lucas was out waiter and he was welcoming, kind, and had fantastic recommendations and insights about the menu. I would definitely come back and highly recommend!

Great dishes, fantastic dry aged meat! Great service by Carla and John!! Definetly worth visiting while in Barcelona. It was a highlight :)

On holiday in Barcelona and came here with a group of friends as our “last supper”, and boy was it the perfect choice! Their specialty is meat. Beef to be precise. However, you can order other things. Anyway, let’s get back to why we’re here. The steak! The STEAK! I had the entrecot madurado (45 days) 500g and it was the best streak I’ve ever had in my life.Our server, Luca, Argentinian guy, was also the best server I’ve ever had in my life. He needs a bonus and pay rise. He knows what he is talking about and doesn’t just give you suggestions to make you spend money, but rather suggestions for you to have the most enjoyable meal and time at the restaurant. He is super friendly and takes time to chat.Most, if not all of the steak comes with this small table self-grillers, which is what I am all about. You can slap your pre-cooked meat (so it does not come completely raw) onto it and grill it to your fancy. Best drink is the Caipi Mango-Melon. Never bad anything like it. I miss it!

We had a fantastic dinner that was multiplied by the kindness and knowledge of the waiters.Thank you for this couple of hours spent in a good atmosphere, the food was fantastic. (We hope that the young smiling lady who started with you that day is still there because she fit the atmosphere)We will definitely be back.

The resturant is super great, especially the staffs are very friendly and warmly: Lucas and his partner gave us impressive and happy service. My parents are very happy with them. The steak is very delicious and in big portion! We three share one portion of dry aged steak very full! We have a great dinner there!
