My recent visit to La Gavina Restaurant was truly delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience, which was enhanced by the exceptional quality of the products offered. Each dish was prepared with precision and showcased fresh ingredients. The service was outstanding, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The only aspect I would suggest for improvement is the pricing, which I found slightly above average. Nonetheless, the experience was certainly commendable, and I look forward to returning in the future.
Great location and that’s it.Food was OK nothing special. Lacking seasoningAnd for the service wow. HORRIBLE! the attitudes from this whole entire staff was crazy. They pretty much ignored us. First server took our order with such nastiness and then never returned to check on us or anything. I watched the other servers give the exact same energy to all the patrons there.Food was dropped off and NOBODY came by to check on us.Had both seafood and chicken paella and it was so bland.If I were you, I’d skip this place all together! Not worth it all.
Great place to stop by if you like the sunshine. Food is pretty good, not amazing. The cold beer was great! Check it out if you’re walking by. Better than the neighbouring restaurants
I enjoyed lunch at La Gavina with the family. Very tasty Spanish seafood, the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was quite the delight. It is a little pricey but when on vacation in west Europe in a touristy location you can't expect otherwise.
Fantastic seafood restaurant at the pier of Barceloneta! True restaurant with well informed and educated waiters, flawless service, linen napkins, good food and an excellent Sangria and - most important: Very good and fresh seafood: Comes at a price but the package is well worth it.We had Seafood Pasta and Octopus a la Gallega as a starter: The Pasta was al dente, well supplied with different seafood and very good, the Octopus was a bit short of being perfect.As main dishes we had Bacalau al Piri Piri and Merluza. Both were excellent, as well as the Cheesecake thereafter!All in all highly recommended!
