If you’re looking for a delightful spot, you’ve got to check this place out! The drinks are unique and delicious, and the atmosphere is simply charming. David is fantastic at guiding you to the best choices, whether it’s food or drinks. And don’t skip the dessert menu—it's a must-try! Just ask David about his favorites; he’ll steer you in the right direction. This extension of del 7 Portes is truly something special!
The concept is tantalising - 7 Portes in bistro style. You get a good selection of 7 Portes classics and can choose between Racion and Unidad for some dishes. The kitchen is shared with 7 Portes. The staff are friendly and courteous. We had vegetable cannelloni and lamb chops with chips. Both were very tasty. The barra is beautifully designed, but too well lit and therefore not very cosy. However, we will be back soon for a small dinner.
My recent dining experience at La Barra del 7 Portes in Barcelona was exceptional. The food was superb and the service was great
We stopped in this wonderful hidden gem of a bar for lunch when there was no room at 7 Portes. Luckily the host let us know about La Barra that is actually the same kitchen as the main restaurant. It’s a tiny place in the backside of the building, but service at the bar was wonderful. As expected, the food was delicious and well prepared from tapas to paella. Definitely recommended for a laid back and delightful experience.
Wow, amazing food. The Catalan traditional dishes were the best I have had! Calamari with the best romesco sause, padrones perfectly salted. Paella was very good. Crema Catalana was good as well. Drinks on a great pricepoint. We would have liked some other non-alcoholic drink options, only sodas were available.
