I was lucky to have Alessandro as my waiter, he was so kind to ask the kitchen if I could get the tasting menu, even thi the requirements were two or more people. Alessandro is amazing and made a decent espresso martiniFood was good enough, something better than other courses, sushi on the tasting menu was amazing, same with the dessert. Minus on atmosphere because the table is not level and was tilting back and forth and a good amount of small flies around the table, even in the soy sauce bottle.
Unique experience perhaps because we’ve celebrated NYE here with special menu and great atmosphere.Really enjoyed the food, it was delicious and very fusion - which I liked.Beautiful restaurant inside, elevated atmosphere and a nice mix of people, quite diverse. On the pricey side, but with food and superb service, I left very happy.
nice atmosphere and beautiful interior. we sat at a small table where there are about four small tables. The space we were sat in was quite narrow. You can choose from a la carte or one from their composed menu. We opted for the a la carte. the starters and sushi were very tasty, as were the chicken skewers. At the end we ordered duck. When we tried the duck we both tasted that the bottom of the duck was burnt and the taste of the burnt part was very strong. We indicated this to the operator. In the end the waiter took it away and we received exactly the same dish back, the burnt part of which had been partially removed. We found this very surprising that it was not explained what they did with the meat. Because of this we decided not to have dessert anymore. We thought it was a shame to end the evening like this because the starters, sushi and chicken skewers were very tasty. unfortunately the taste of this was gone by the last dish. I recommend the restaurant for sushi lovers, because the sushi is good.
Such a beautiful setting. We had great food for good value, exquisite food presentation. Very festive. Alessandro gave us great service. The chef did a lovely job of spicing up my meal for me. We will definitely be back!
Perfectly average experience. For a sushi spot, it was average. For a European sushi spot, it was above average. The interior design is intense. Obviously a lot of money and effort was put into it. It's modern and quite a lot to take in, all in a strange shape, almost like a bean.I can't say the service was outstanding nor was it poor. It was exactly in the middle. A bit distant and cold, but it got the job done. There was no warmth in any part of the visit. It was a bit strange. Like eating at a chain restaurant where the staff don't really care but are professional at their jobs. I feel like they just see guests as money, and we are treated as such. I mean, I don't think it's a particularly bad thing. It was just a bit strange. I'm used to that in countries like the USA and UK.The food was okay. Fish was fresh and tasty. Seasoned and selected very well. Dishes were a decent size. Tuna tartare seemed a little artificial in colour. Either it was treated with preservatives or coloured with beet juice or something similar.Drinks were strong, which was nice. They made the Paloma very well. I tried the Geisha cocktail, purely for the tiki gimmick, and it was surprisingly strong, but also very sweet. Too sweet for me, unfortunately.Music was excellent! That I didn't expect. And it wasn't cheesy Asian-style kitsch. It was a solid playlist of electronic beats, like Ibiza chill. It's worth a stop if you want to try a cocktail and some sushi, and if we had been hungrier perhaps we could have had more.
