We were sat quickly and the service was very fast. After a week of been in Spain, we were used to the laid back service geared toward enjoying your meal at your own pace. We observed the servers wanting to clear plates from tables as soon as people were socializing (but not finished eating). If you’re looking for a more laid-back, local vibe, this might not be for you. However, the food was served hot and was enjoyable!
Wow! I‘m rarely wowed but this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had outside of the fine dining space. The food was delicious and perfectly paired with the wine recommendations and the service was exceptional thanks to Rodrigo. I will for sure come again!
Great experience, food was amazing and plenty. I tried ordering most of the items on the menu. The timing could have been better but I get it there was a lot of us and the place was full. Food was very tasty and well done. Everyone was very happy with all the choices they made for us. The lamb was outstanding. And plenty of vegetarian options. We were a big group and was cramped at the back which we didn’t mind but there was a few ppl in our group that was uncomfortable.
I went to the Gourmet Sensi and was surprised at how good the food was. Me and my partner ate the vegetarian dishes and they were very tasty. We shared 5 dishes between the 2 of us and the portions were mostly large, so 4 would have been enough for us. Our favourite was the vegan chicken croquette! We also received a basket of bread to complement the meal for free. The service was the best I have had in Barcelona! Our waitress Maricela was very attentive and helpful.
What a great night we had there! It was very highly rated and it lived up to our expectations. We sat at the bar which was fun - and watched Rodrigo (we hope we remembered his name correctly from last week!) the fabulous bartender do his magic with lots of style. Drinks were very good. The food was also excellent and creative which was fantastic because we had eaten enough of the simple tapas at other places (anchovies on toast, fried potatoes, and potato omelette) after several nights. The dishes were each very tasty and had a nice flair. This is creative food without being crazy. The manager who greeted us was smiling whenever I saw him and that is a good sign things are well at this special place.
