If you're like me, getting a Mexican soul food when in Barcelona is a crucial part of the experience and El Pachuco is just the spot!A small off-street venue with a bar-style seating, super chilled and friendly service, unusual craft beers and most importantly, a very authentic Mexican food made with love!My go to Mexican quality test meal is always quesadilla, because although quite simple, there is a lot to mess up. And at El Pachuco, the quesadillas are just divine - crispy on the outside, lots of meat, great runny cheese, amazing spices, great portions that will fill you up even if you are quite hungry. The service was quick, but the food was gone even quicker.Note that they do accept cash payments, and thankfully, Revolut instant payment was also an option too.

Was recommended here by my aunt for the tacos and were not disappointed! We ordered the assorted tacos flavour and antojitos. The chalupas were SO filling and massive hills of meat - my husband preferred this over the tacos. I normally dislike coriander but they went really well in the chalupas. I also had the mango margaritas which was also generously heaped with mangoes.

A hole in the wall, however, some of the best cuisine we’ve had in our two weeks in BARCELONA! The staff was friendly, the food was fresh and absolutely inviting and exciting atmosphere! This place is 10 out of 10. Definitely need to stop here for true Mexican food while you stay in Barcelona!

We stumbled upon this place because we were after an afternoon snack and my boyfriend felt like having Mexican. The bar is super cute and very well fit out. We ordered the 4 types of tacos so that we could try every one. The bean taco was my absolute favourite! The manager was super welcoming and lovely to chat with and the drinks were super refreshing!Definitely would love to come back to try the nachos!
