Everything was perfect and special! The quality of the food is excellent and Merce’ is a wonderful waiter! she pays attention to details and she tries to give you a wonderful experience. I’d have given a 5 overall if they would have been willing to cook a risotto without garlic (I’m allergic) on the spot. They found alternatives and at the end I still had a great lunch but I’d have appreciated the extra effort! Thanks

A lovely restaurant to enjoy some local cuisine! We tried bomba de la Barceloneta, paella de bolets, and crema catalana. The bomba and paella were especially delicious—highly recommended. They also have a great selection of wines to complement the meal.

To be clear, I am not here to complain about the restaurant, just want to say that the overall rating is too high. The saving grace has to be their great service from the staff.Food wise, it is quite disappointing. I am writing this after traveling for more than a week in Barcelona, Madrid, Girona, Granada and Sevilla. I have to say the quality is most disappointing here. You can see from the photos that the bruschetta wasn’t nice, seems like they are facing supply issue with tomatoes. The seafood was also not fresh. The prawns in the Gambas dish were not fresh and similarly in the Paella. The Paella only tasted salty and had none of the seafood flavors, really a let down and did non do any justice to their national dish.We were there on a Sunday at about 9pm and there were only 3 other tables occupied. Place was nice and quiet. Lighting was bright enough and perhaps it was not crowded, it was not noisy.Service was good, staff were responsive and friendly. That did set me thinking about the rating but the food quality was really way below their Google rating. The pricing is reasonable but considering the food quality, not value for money still. Perhaps it was a one off bad day for the chef but there are many many Spanish restaurants out in Barcelona that will beat this one easily.

Very good place! Great and relaxing atmosphere. Tasty and fresh food. I have tried seafood paella, bomba de la Barceloneta and nice local craft beer. Perfect service by Facundo. Nice liquors as compliment. Recommend it!

On another occasion the experience could be better, but on this one the restaurant was just too busy for the waiters to even offer the minimal standard of service. They were multitasking to the max and that would be why the waiter forgot that we had ordered a main dish in addition to a starter. However, it would be common sense that two customers sitting for 1 hour at a table after finishing the starter would be waiting for a main dish. The worst thing is that the waiter blamed us for not ordering the main dish. What happened to us? He was too busy to remember anything. Whatever the reason, it would be rude for a waiter to say to the customer, " No, you didn't order. I speak good English." Apart from the fact that they were grossly understaffed, they weren't trained to operate in a busy environment with basic courtesy. The food wasn't bad but the experience was horrible.Update: Thank you for responding to my review. Since you asked for the details. We visited your restaurant on 3 May 2024. We ordered 1 starter and a paella for 2 people at 9:12pm. We got the starter at 9:34pm, liked it, and order another one. After that we waited until 10:15pm to query about our main, and received it at 10:38pm. We were very patient as customers, but unfortunately didn't receive one word of "sorry" from the waiter. Another reason why we were so sure there was no misunderstanding was that the waiter told us that to order a paella the minimum was for 2 people. We discussed and said to him yes that's fine we'd go for it. And he went away with our order. After saying so much, how could he have supposed that we were sitting there just waiting for the bill.
