The chicken could be cooked a little more since inside it is a little pink and I think that’s not too good. The booths are uncomfortable to go in and out, there is like no space so you have to be careful not to get hit by the corners when you enter .
1st experience in this exquisite restaurant was simply breathtaking… It has its own dainty character and I have to say, It’s spectacular from every angle the moment you walk in, I was in awe!!! My hubby and I was graciously welcomed by the host and without knowing the high demands of the restaurant, we didn’t make any reservation for it but thankfully the host was accommodative enough to find us a seat. This review serves as a recommendation and I can affirm this restaurant as one of a ‘must go’ when you’re visiting Barcelona or even when you’re residing here as a local. Most importantly, I have to say… Food was utterly scrumptious!!! My hubby and I had :Appetiser1) Potato chips “BONILLA A LA VISTA”2) Anchovy stuffed olives “EL XILLU”3) Tomato bread with anchovy “CANTABRICO”8/104) Cod Fritters10/105) Russian Salad9/106) Wild mushroom ravioli with parmesano reggiano and truffle oil7.5/10 (a tad bland)7) Coquelet with Herbs10/108) Mashed Potatoes10/109) Whipped cream with vanilla and Chocolate truffles Manjari9/10I always believe food critics & reviews is acquire to its and every own individual taste and this is my fair contribution.Bon Profit
Hummm... in summary, I don't think I will come back again. The ambience of the restaurant is nice! It was more French style. Unique experience to be beyond usual Spanish vibe. :)Especially, it was half open kitchen where we were able to see the bakery side and chicken ovens - appetizing! :)However, the food was not matching the expectation - for the price. The chicken was exceptionally dry. The side dishes were missing some taste. The staffs were not attentive at all ( not friendly either).Plus, one of the worst part was that.. we set near to the bathroom. And the staffs were cleaning the bathroom while in the mid of the lunch hours. Entire my meal, I hear all sounds of water, flushing toilet multiple times, it was really unpleasant experience.Overall, I dont feel that any of the staffs have manager who is in charge of overall quality of service.
chicken rotisserie cooked so well still juicy and yummy. We ordered BBQ, classic and spicy. It came with side dishes of fresh made fries, mash sweet potato and Romaine lettuce heart and toast bread with tomato. Highly recommended
A surprising restaurant, warm decoration and service. The food is correct and their speciality, the chicken, is very nice. The terrace is also well decorated and calm. Really recommendable to have a quite dinner. Good quality-price rate.
