This is my favorite restaurant I’ve tried in Barcelona so far. The food, the atmosphere, the drinks- perfection. The staff were wonderful as well, I only rated 4 stars for service because the actual admission process is a bit funky. As a primarily English speaker, I read our reservation confirmation email as confirmed rather than waitlisted? Just something to be cautious of, we had to wait an extra 25 minutes past our reservation to get a table. Nonetheless, they still got us to our table and were very attentive since. Food was incredible though, DEFINITELY worth the wait!

Truffle Pasta and the cheesecake are very delicious!! And the vibes and service were perfectCarmina is an Italian eatery with a gastronomic offering based on traditional Italian cuisine. Located in the central neighborhood of La Ribera, in El Born, this restaurant transports you directly to Italy with dishes that reflect passion and dedication to authentic flavors and quality ingredients. Its location in a nineteenth-century colonial house makes it a very special corner to enjoy a meal by candlelight.

We had a lovely time, and the place is super nice! We tried the starter and pastas, and everything was tasty. The service was really good, and Paula was so kind and attentive. For me it’s just a little bit “too Instagram place” in terms of vibe. But in general very lovely. Thank you!

First of all the interior of this restaurant is super cute! We had a reservation and waited about 10min for our table at 10pm. The services was pretty quick and attentive after sitting down. We got an assortment of bread and olives with our wine which we loved. Shortly after we directly got our food. I can’t believe that I am writing this but the food even came out too fast for us since we just started snacking on the olives & bread but plus for being so fast. After our pasta, which was delicious, we got asked if we wanted a dessert and we said we need a couple of minutes bevor ordering dessert but will definitely want to order some. Around 20min later I walked up to a server to order dessert but she said that the kitchen was already closed for a bit now and offered us shots to compensate. We were pretty sad since it was my friends birthday. Not sure what went wrong here… the food was great but I don’t think I will be coming back here.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The place itself is stunning – unique, cozy, and full of atmosphere. It feels like stepping into a different world.A special shout-out to our waitress, Paula, who provided exceptional service.
