Nothing kills an experience for me more than bad service. I am more forgiving of bad food. And I have to seriously applaud Carballeira Restaurant for their outstanding service and attention.We walked in for lunch without reservations and were immediately seated. Service was super quick. The servers were amazingly friendly and helpful. They all worked together as a team and were extremely attentive. The food was impeccably fresh and well seasoned. We ordered more food than usual. Escargot, crispy cod, lamb shoulder, crab, and cheesecake along with some cocktails. Everything we ate was delicious and well presented, cocktails were well made. Highly recommend. Will definitely visit again.
A huge thank you to all of the team working on the 2nd Jan 25! I called at 6:30 to see if they had a table for 7pm and they did (I think this was pure luck). From the moment we walked in we were welcomed. We had the Monk fish croquettes and the fish of the day which was a sea bass with vegetables followed by sorbet and chocolate…simply stunning!! A special thank you to our waiter who gave us a complementary drink as it was my mother’s 60th birthday. The food, ambiance and service was wonderful and I will absolutely return if I am in Barcelona again.(The photos on google of this restaurant do not do it justice)Thank you!!
We went there to here for dinner. We ordered Grilled sea food plate, seafood paella and Sangria with red wine. The grilled seafood plate is large enough for two people. It included an assortment of seafoods. The seafoods were fresh and taste really good. The seafood paella was very good, but a little bit too salty for my Asian taste. The Sangria was good with a lot of wine added. Overall, very nice seafood dinner.

The most elegant of seafood restaurants. This place has the freshest shellfish and seafood and inventive dishes such as hake cheeks and red prawn carpaccio. You can tell the chef knows his food and examines EVERY dish as it leaves the kitchen. White tablecloth and discreet formal service. I loved the peace and quiet after a day of dodging the summer crowds. One of my favorite restaurants around the world.
