Absolutely amazing food, service, and atmosphere. We had the lobster salad, tomato bread, oysters, calamari, and seafood platters. All of it was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The wine selection was very impressive as well. One of my top restaurants for sure!

We had a fantastic dinner here with a group of 8. We tried different dishes like a seafood platter, lobsters, dorado, and paella, and everything was fresh and very tasty. The service was excellent—fast, friendly, and well-organized—even though the restaurant was full. The atmosphere was great, and we felt very well taken care of. It cost around 110 per person, but it was worth it. Highly recommend for anyone who loves seafood!

I enjoyed a late lunch at Botafumeiro on 1 January 2025, and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff impressed me with their warm and attentive service. A special mention to Raheel, who ensured that everything was perfectly handled—my plates were replaced promptly, and I always felt well taken care of. Despite the restaurant being quite busy at the time, all the staff were smiling and made a genuine effort to check in with me to ensure I was comfortable and happy with my meal.The seafood platter was an absolute standout. The shrimp, lobster, oysters, and crab were all incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the kitchen's dedication to quality. I also had the black seafood paella, which was rich, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with fresh seafood.As if the meal wasn’t already fantastic, the restaurant surprised me with a complimentary dessert. It was a thoughtful gesture that added a sweet note to an already memorable dining experience.The customer service here is truly outstanding. Botafumeiro strikes the perfect balance between a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service. The meal included their famous seafood paella, along with perfectly cooked lobster and juicy shrimps. The flavors were delightful, and the freshness of the ingredients truly stood out.The service was attentive and professional, complementing the restaurant’s sophisticated ambiance. However, it’s worth noting that Botafumeiro is on the pricier side, especially when compared to other seafood spots in Barcelona. While the quality is undeniable, be prepared for a splurge.Overall, Botafumeiro is a fantastic choice for seafood lovers seeking a touch of luxury. This restaurant opened in 2013, but the decor feels more like the 1990s, giving it a charming vintage vibe. Although we didn’t have a reservation, there were plenty of available tables.Upon entering, you’re greeted by a wall filled with photos of celebrities and influential figures. As soon as we sat down, they brought us chips, olives (which were amazing), and butter with bread.We ordered the grilled octopus , which was delicious, and the hot seafood platter . We were a group of three, and the portions were generous. I’d recommend ordering the platter for 4-5 people and adding a couple of appetizers to share.For dessert, I tried two options: a mango dish (which I can’t quite recall, but I’d rate it 4/10) and the strawberry cheesecake, which was a perfect 10/10.Overall, it was a great experience, and the staff were wonderful. I’ll definitely be returning!
