A while ago, a friend told me: I wanna eat Japanese food, but not sushi or ramen. In Japan, of course, you can go to any place and find different types of food. In Europe it's more complicated... In BCN,, there's a Japanese restaurant in every street, but they all serve the same things: sushi and ramen. But recently, a few yakiniku (Japanese BBQ) places have opened and I wanted to try it (I had never had yakiniku ) so I seized the opportunity and booked a table at Ah-un. The place is really beautiful. We got to sit in a kind of small booth that gave us privacy without isolating us. The atmosphere was really great, with some industrial vibes, fake fall plants and Japanese art on the wall. Now the light was not good for pics, unfortunately... We had a set menu, the most expensive one, for 54 per person (not including drinks). They brought us a couple of nice aburi sushi, a lovely garlic butter rice dish in a hot stone bowl, a salad, a soup and, of course, some meat.Everything was delicious. Dessert was included too. It was a beautifully presented mix of typical Japanese desserts. But that probably was the less good part of the menu as, in terms of taste, everything was pretty random.Quantity was sufficient, Now, was it worth that much money (in BCN, 50 for food is a lot of money)? Meh... I mean, most of the meat was pork or chicken, which are cheap meats. And the beef cuts were not the most luxurious ones either. I definitely enjoyed it, for the food and for the company. I'm not sure I'll be back though, because of the prices.Quality & taste: 8/10Quantities: 7/10Atmosphere: 9/10Originality: 7/10Ratio price / quality: 5/10Service: 9/10How I felt afterwards: 8/10

For a barbecue lover like myself, it was an amazing experience. Super fresh and tasty.
Great Japanese BBQ place with amazing meat quality! Very recomendable - we had a great night.
Fantastic experience. We ordered the dinner set menu, which comes with sashimi, gyosa, hot roll, meat, rice, salad, miso and ice cream (matcha, sesame or vanilla) , a bottle of wine and the sake taster. Everything was perfect. Best sashimi I've had in years, amazing beef and wine. Servers were polite and helpful. All the food came promptly and was really presented.
